Post Metric Scholarship
Proper education is a serious concern in the rural and urban areas of Warangal among the poor. Lack of awareness and the importance of education have forced many children to stop accessing higher education. Pragathi Seva Samithi has initiated several measures to encourage parents and children to attend school and aim high in life for a better life. Pragathi supported 1200 economically poor students for pursuing higher education i.e, Intermediate, Engineering, Pharmacy, Degree and Medicine Courses at various universities under “Kusuma Young Achiever Award” program, the program support entails monetary support, Career Guidance and Mentoring Support.
Child Labor Schools
Pragathi Seva Samithi has been actively working with child labor in encouraging them to attend school. As part of this initiative, 2 schools are run i.e. at Kesamudram and Warangal. Over 100 children are being educated in these schools every year.
CHILDLINE 1098
PSS implemented CHILDLINE 1098 program In the United Warangal district as Nodal Organization.
CHILDLINE is India’s 24-hour, toll free, emergency phone outreach service for children in need of care and protection linking them to long-term services for their care and rehabilitation. Any child and concerned adult can call 1098 and access the CHILDLINE service any time of the day or night.
Since 2000 we are working with Child care, we have implemented Street Children Program in the Warangal District. From 2011 Pragathi Seva Samithi has been working with CHILDLINE 1098 program and till the March’2023 we have rescued 6217 children from emergency crisis conditions
Objective: CHILDLINE will reach out to every child in need and ensure their rights and protection.

Pragathi Seva Samithi has organized the child line program with the support of Child Line India Foundation, PSS is the Nodal Agency for the child line program in Warangal.
