A free eye surgery camp organized by Pragathi Seva Samithi was successfully conducted in Maripeda. The event was inaugurated by Maripeda Tahsildar Srinivas, who appreciated the initiative and commended the organization’s efforts in providing essential healthcare services to the public.
In his address, Tahsildar Srinivas highlighted the importance of such camps, stating that they were conducted in collaboration with the District Medical and Health Department of Mahabubabad and the Department of Ophthalmology, Kakatiya Medical College, Warangal. He praised the doctors and medical staff for their dedicated service.
During the camp, 68 individuals underwent eye examinations, and 34 were identified as needing cataract surgery, which will be provided free of cost.
The event saw the participation of key personnel including Ophthalmologist Dr. Afsar Sathi, Coordinator Venkataramana, and several local dignitaries. Their involvement and support contributed to the camp’s success, ensuring quality care for those in need.
