Pragathi was registered in 1991 under Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Areas) Public Societies Registration Act, 1350 Fasli (Act I of 1350 F.) Hyderabad. When Pragathi began operations during the early 1990s, ‘service’ to the marginalized and oppressed communities was at the core of all initiatives.
